The best place to locate sources for a literary analysis is the MLA International Bibliography database. The most effective way to locate relevant materials is to (1) type the name of the work in the first search box (use quotes if the title is more than one word) and select "SK Primary Subject Work" in the drop-down menu, and (2) type the name of the author of that work (usually, the last name is enough) in the second search box and select "SA Primary Subject Author" from the drop-down menu. Add additional terms to the third search box, if desired and/or necessary. Also consider limiting to peer-reviewed, or scholarly, journals.
